Grammer Post. week 1

I have never understood how to use hyphens. I have seen them every now and again in reading, but never have used them due to my ignorance. The basic rule of how to use a hyphen is between compund nouns, is first check a dictionary. If the word is not found then treat them as seperate words. Compound verbs are either one word or hyphentaed, so if not shown in the dictionary, throw in a hyphen. Also, if two adjectives come before a noun, use a hyphen. If you spell out fractions, this would also be a necessary use.
