Grammer Post week 2

The use of Ellipsis. I have always thought I knew how to use these marks. I thought it took the place of saying etc. For example, I have some groceries to buy like milk, juice, bread..... That's how I would have used it. Instead, it used to shorten a sentence by omitting a part of the sentence that isn't necessary but you want to show that you have omitted a certain part. I was also unaware that you are only suppose to use three of them. I thought you could use a many as you wanted to. You are also supposed to allow a space between wherever they appear. like, I have some groceries to buy ... so I will see you later.
